Two Hospitalized, One in Custody After Three-Car Crash
GREENE TOWNSHIP: A three-vehicle crash in Pike County on March 4 led to a DUI arrest, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The crash occurred around 6:05 p.m. on Route 390 in Greene Township.
Police said Pauline M. Savage, 59, of Tafton, was traveling north when she failed to maintain her lane and struck two vehicles heading in the opposite direction. Troopers allege Savage was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
Savage sustained a minor injury and was arrested at the scene. Charges were filed for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of .16% or higher, according to state police.
The other drivers, Joseph A. Bologna, 79, and Dominique Tarbell, 30, both of Greentown, were transported to area hospitals with injuries.
All three vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
