A missing endangered person advisory issued last week for an 80-year-old Wayne County man has ended tragically.

According to the Coroner’s Office, they were dispatched to a home on Long Ridge Road after the homeowner remotely accessed security cameras and observed a deceased person in the driveway. A 911 call was placed, and the Chief Deputy Coroner responded to the scene.

An autopsy was conducted on Monday, December 15. The cause and manner of death are pending the results of the investigation.
