Juvenile Faces Criminal Homicide Charge From September Shooting

LAKE ARIEL, Pa. - A juvenile male on Tuesday was charged with criminal homicide in connection with a fatal shooting on September 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police in Honesdale.
Troop R of the State Police said in a news release that the incident occurred at about 1 a.m. at a residence on Parkwood Drive in The Hideout, Salem Township, where Kimo Richards, 30, was found dead from a gunshot wound.
Police said that investigators concluded that the victims’ injuries were not self-inflicted - after troopers conducted numerous interviews, reviewed physical and forensic evidence, analyzed the 911 call, and obtained findings from the forensic autopsy and Pennsylvania State Police Wyoming Regional Laboratory.
Troop R added that due to the age of the accused, no additional identifying information will be released.
