Three Hospitalized After Fire Damages Nine Homes at Elk Lake

Three people were transported to the hospital Thursday morning after a fire broke out on Sensentine Road in the Elk Lake community of Wayne County.
The blaze spread to several nearby homes, damaging a total of nine residences, according to Wayne County Emergency Management.
During the fire, a propane tank exploded and was propelled through the air, striking one of the homes, officials said.

The extent of the victims' injuries was not immediately available, and no information about their conditions has been released.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal.
