Wanye County - Flames tore through a home in the Sandy Shore development near Lakeville on Saturday afternoon, reducing the structure to rubble.

NEPA News was on the scene as fire crews from multiple departments worked to battle the blaze. Despite the extensive damage, no injuries were reported at the fire scene.

While responding to the incident, a water tanker en route to the fire was involved in a crash. Firefighters aboard the tanker sustained only minor injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
